Continuing education, or PDH, is called Continuing Professional Development (CDP) in Ohio.

How many PDHs are required for professional engineers in Ohio?

Engineers in Ohio are required to complete 30 PDHs every two years.

When do Ohio engineers renew their license?

Engineers in Ohio renew on December 31st of odd-numbered years (2019, 2021, 2023, etc.)

Do your engineering courses qualify for credit with the state of Ohio?

No, we are awaiting implementation of a timing feature to comply with Ohio Professional Engineers and Surveyors Board regulations.

What content is approved for PDHs in Wyoming?

Technical, managerial, and ethical content that is relevant to the practice of engineering is approved as continuing education for engineers in Wyoming. Business skills, professional development skills, computer skills not related specifically to engineering, and subjects that are "elementary" or entry level are not accepted.

Who stores my engineering continuing education records?

Technically each engineer is responsible for keeping track and submitting their own certificates, BUT WE STORE ALL CERTIFICATES INDEFINITELY and they can always be accessed for free. CPD completion records must be maintained for a minimum of 4 years.
