How many hours of CPC are required for professional engineers in New Jersey?

Engineers in New Jersey are required to completeĀ 24 PDHs every two years including 2 hours of Professional Practice Ethics.

When do New Jersey engineers renew their license?

Engineers in New Jersey renew on April 30th of even-numbered years.

Do your engineering courses qualify for credit with the state of New Jersey?

No, we are currently awaiting approval from the New Jersey State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.

What content is approved for professional engineering PDHs in New Jersey?

Courses that are technical and relate to the practice of professional engineering with a clear purpose of maintaining, improving, or expanding skills and knowledge relevant to engineering are approved. Courses related to practice management, marketing, or building are NOT accepted.

I have extra New Jersey engineer PDHs, do they carry over?

Yes, the New Jersey State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors allows a maximum of 12 PDH credits to be carried into the next renewal period.

Who stores my engineering continuing education records?

Technically each engineer is responsible for keeping track and submitting their own certificates, BUT WE STORE ALL CERTIFICATES INDEFINITELY and they can always be accessed for free. PDH completion records must be maintained for a minimum of 5 years.

Are internet courses approved for New Jersey professional engineer PDHs?

Yes, internet courses are approved by the New Jersey State Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors to meet all PDH requirements.
